Working meeting for the MiCreS Project held in Malta
The Macedonian Banking Association is proud to participate in the European MiCreS project, contributing to the development of innovative micro-credentials for the banking and financial services sector.
This week, on 26–27 March, the president of the Macedonian Banking Association, PhD. Maja Stevkova Shterieva, participated in a dynamic working session of the MiCreS project partners in Malta, hosted by the Institute of Financial Services Malta.
The session focused on reviewing the project’s progress, presenting pilot activities carried out in Ireland and Malta, and preparing for the project’s final conference. The event also provided valuable opportunities for networking, knowledge exchange, and coordinating the next steps of the project. During her visit to Malta, PhD. Stevkova Shterieva also attended the meeting of the member organizations of the European Banking & Financial Services Training Association.

Together with renowned project partners—Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Institute of Bankers (IOB), the European Banking & Financial Services Training Association (EBTN), Effebi Association, European Forum of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Romanian Banking Institute, Association of Serbian Banks, Banking & Payments Federation Ireland, Malta Union of Bank Employees, and İFE İstanbul Institute of Finance—we are working to build a strong European ecosystem for micro-credentials in banking and finance.
This collaboration represents an important step toward strengthening international partnerships, sharing expertise, and shaping the future of financial education across Europe.
