Ceremonial recognition of the best national teams in the European Money Quiz 2026
Today, on the 9th of June 2026, the Macedonian Banking Association hosted a ceremonial event recognizing the most successful teams from the national competition for the European Money Quiz 2026. The final of this prestigious European financial literacy competition took place on 19 May 2026 in Brussels, Belgium, and was organized by the European Banking Federation.
The event was attended by representatives of the Macedonian Banking Association, the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, and the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, as well as the members of the three highest-ranked teams from the national competition and their mentor.
During the ceremony, the students and their mentor were presented with certificates of recognition and commemorative gifts in acknowledgment of their outstanding achievements and demonstrated knowledge in the field of financial literacy.
The following teams were recognized:
- Third Place: Teodor Jovanov and Sofija Gudumanovski from SEPUGS “Vasil Antevski-Dren” – Skopje
- Second Place: Iva Velkovska and Lana Stojevska from SEPUGS “Vasil Antevski-Dren” – Skopje
- First Place: Darija Borizovska and Sara Milkovska from SEPUGS “Vasil Antevski-Dren” – Skopje, who represented the Republic of North Macedonia at the European Final in Brussels
All three teams were mentored by professor Biljana Ninovska.
In cooperation with the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of North Macedonia, the Macedonian Banking Association remains committed to advancing financial literacy among young people as an essential foundation for their active, informed, and responsible participation in today’s economy.
