Meet the multi-talented team who won third place in the European Money Quiz competition
Stefanija Sarafimova was born on 5 July 2006 in Kavadarci. She is enrolled in her first year at Dobri Daskalov High School in Kavadarci.
She has participated in many competitions and won numerous awards, including the first place in the Regional Geography Competition in 2021. Stefania has also competed in the International Maths Competition – Kengur, where she won second place in 2014 and won the first prize of the competition in 2016, 2017 and 2018. In addition to her interest in natural sciences, Stefania loves dancing and she has won several International Latin Dance Competitions, organized by the Kavadarci Latin Dance Club.
Her interests and hobbies are: studying foreign languages, especially English, photographing landscapes and reading.
Maria V’chkova was born on 6 July 2006 in Kavadarci. Like her team mate, she has participated in numerous competitions from various fields and achieved excellent results, including several first places in Regional Competitions in Biology and Natural Sciences and the first prize in a Poetry Competition.
She received recognition as a Best Young Gymnast and Talent in Gymnastics in 2017 for Kavadarci, won several first places at the State Competitions in Gymnastics from 2015 to 2019, first prize of the State Competition in Athletics, and first place in an International Ballet Competition.
Her interests and hobbies are: studying foreign languages, of which Spanish is her favorite, studying natural sciences and various research in the field of natural sciences and medicine. She’s also taking a programming course at the Young Engineers Association in Skopje.
