Held the 52nd meeting of the Associate members of the European Banking Federation

On September 29, 2021, the 52nd meeting of the Associate members of the European Banking Federation (EBF) was held virtually.

The meeting, in addition to the presidency of the Macedonian Banking Association, was attended by representatives of banking associations from Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, San Marino, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro and Turkey.

First, the Executive Director of EBF, Mr. Wim Mijs informed the attendees about the activities of the federation in the past period.

The guest of the meeting was Mr. Guido Clari, European Investment Bank Operations Manager for Slovenia, Albania, Kosovo and North Macedonia.

The work of the European Banking Federation to recover from the consequences of the covid crisis was presented by Burchak Inel, Director of EBF Development Finance.

Sladjana Sredojevic from the Association of Serbian Banks presented the book prepared on the 100th anniversary of the Association:
“Banking Associations – Their Role and Impact in a Time of Market Change”Presentation by Sladjana SREDOJEVIĆ (Association of Serbian Banks (ASB)).

A discussion and exchange of experiences were opened at the meeting, with the active involvement of the President of the MBA, Maja Stevkova Sterieva PhD.
