15th session of the assembly of Macedonian Banking Association – Principles for responsible banking accepted

At its last session in 2019, held on December 27, at the premises of the Association, the Assembly of the Macedonian Banking Association, chaired by Ph.D. Maja Stevkova-Shterieva, accepted the Principles for Responsible Banking.

Taking in consideration the place they have in society and wishing to play a leading role in building economic and lifestyle change for the common prosperity of present and future generations, the members of the Macedonian Banking Association have accepted the Principles for Responsible Banking: alignment, clients and customers, stakeholders, governance and target settings, transparency and accountability.

The Assembly also adopted the Macedonian Banking Association Working Program for the following year, and a Decision appointing a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Human Resources Commission. Ljupco Farmakovski from Komercijalna Banka AD Skopje was appointed Chairman of the Committee, and Nikolina Milanova from Stopanska Banka AD Skopje was appointed as Vice Chairman.

The reports of the other activities of the Macedonian Banking Association in the period between two Assembly sessions have been also presented to the members.
