Macedonian Banking Association reviews the National Bank’s new draft-decisions

At the meeting with the members of the Macedonian Banking Association and the representatives of the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia were discussed the National Bank’s draft decisions which are crucial for the banking sector.

At the meeting were discussed the four draft decisions of the National Bank, as follows: Draft – Decision on amending the Decision on the manner and conditions under which residents who are not authorized banks may open and have accounts abroad, Draft – Decision on amending the Decision on the manner and conditions under which residents can make payment and payment in foreign currency in transactions with non-residents, Draft – Decision on amending the Decision on the methodology for calculating the annual total rate costs and Draft – Decision on amending the Decision on the methodology for determining the capital adequacy.

At the meeting, the members of the Committees of the Macedonian Banking Association presented their views on these draft decisions, and after constructive discussion with the representatives of the National Bank, it was decided to submit their views on the draft decisions in written form to the National Bank.
