First Round of the National European Money Quiz 2026 Successfully Held

Today, 16 March 2026, the first round of the national European Money Quiz competition was held, with the participation of approximately 1,300 registered students from primary and secondary schools across the country.

The highest scores in the first round were achieved by Sofija Gudumanovski and Teodor Jovanov from SEPUGS “Vasil Antevski-Dren” – Skopje (mentor: Biljana Ninovska); Iva Velkovska and Lana Stojevska from the same school (mentor: Biljana Ninovska); Darija Borizovska and Sara Milkovska from the same school (mentor: Biljana Ninovska); and Anja Vaseva and Evgenija Stojanova, also from SEPUGS “Vasil Antevski-Dren” – Skopje (mentor: Biljana Ninovska).

The most successful teams from the first round will advance to the second, final round, which will take place on 19 March 2026 at the premises of the Macedonian Banking Association. The winning team will represent our country at the European finals, to be held on 19 May in Brussels, Belgium.

Our country is participating for the eighth time in the European Money Quiz – a project of the European Banking Federation aimed at financial education for students aged 13 to 15. In North Macedonia, the competition is organized by the Macedonian Banking Association, in cooperation with the National Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
