Commission for financial restructuring of corporate debt
In the direction of promotion and presentation of the Macedonian Banking Association (MBA) to the public, in the following months, we will present the commissions that function as permanent working bodies within the MBA and their leaders.
COMMISSION FOR FINANCIAL RESTRUCTURING OF CORPORATE DEBT
Chairman of the Commission for financial restructuring of corporate debt is Mr. Bojan Stojanoski, Chief Risk Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Stopanska Banka AD Skopje, and Vice-Chairman of the Commission is Zoran Grncharovski, Assistant Member of the Management Board at NLB Banka AD Skopje .
Main focus of the Commission’s work is definition and monitoring the principles for restructuring the financial debt of legal entities, for successfully resolving the difficulties in repayment of the obligations of companies with significant exposure in the financial sector and the economy as a whole.
Economic crises, that have marked the past years, have disrupted financial flows and reduced economic activities, thus lead to a contraction of the global economic system. Taking into consideration these reasons restructuring of corporate debt is one of the most important tools for the continuity of the operations of the companies in conditions of reduced liquidity and insolvency.
Mr. Bojan Stojanoski, MSc, has been a member of the Board of Directors of Stopanska banka AD Skopje at the position of Chief Risk Officer since the beginning of 2020. Mr. Stojanoski took this highly responsible position after 20 years of extensive experience in the financial market, having served as a director manager of several important divisions at Halk Bank: the Credit Division of Credits, the Division of Financial Management and Planning, the Non-performing loans Division, the Asset and Liquidity Management Division, as well as the Division of Marketing and Sales; and as well as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board at the KB Pension Company. As a top-ranking professional, Mr. Stojanoski, apart from his managerial role at the Bank, is also actively involved in the work of the Macedonian Banking Association in the Commission for Financial Restructuring of Corporate Debt, in addition to other projects aimed at enhancing and promoting the area of risk management as a complex process of great significance for the financial sector. Mr. Stojanoski holds a Master of Economic Sciences Degree in Financial Management from the University of St. Cyril and Methodius – Skopje.
Zoran Grncarovski is an Assistant to the Management Board in NLB Banka AD Skopje, with more than 18 years of professional experience in the banking sector. In the beginning, of 2005 he started working as a commercial officer for personal treatment of corporate clients in the area of project financing within the Corporate Client Division, with tasks for selling banking products, advising clients, and preparing credit and financial analysis for investment projects. In 2010 he has was appointed a Head of the Department, within the same division, with main scope of responsibilities to work with clients from the transport, services, and construction industries. In 2013 he was promoted to Manager of Nonperforming Loans and intensive care Division in order to strengthen and improve the process of managing the Bank’s non-performing loan portfolio. He has participated in many projects within the bank, participated in many seminars, and workshops in the area of banking, and also he was the initiator for the implementation of good business practices and principles in a voluntary restructuring of corporate financial debt, within The Commission for restructuring of corporate debt, within the Macedonian Banking Association.
