“ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE INSURANCE AND FACTORING” presentation organized by the Commission for Documentary Operations

On 09.10.2024, at the premises of the Macedonian Banking Association, and organized by the Commission for documentary operations, the representative of the Development Bank of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Darko Jovanoski, gave a presentation on the topic of “Accounts Receivable Insurance and Factoring”. 

The presentation covered topics covering trade credit insurance (receivables insurance) and its advantages, export credit insurance through subsidiaries abroad, factoring and its advantages, types of factoring, as well as its use in countries in Europe and the world.

The interest in topics that are less present among commercial banks was confirmed by the number of present members from the Commission, as well as the debate that developed during the presentation.
