Fourth Working Meeting Held for the MiCreS Project
The fourth working meeting of the MiCreS project partners was held on June 18 and 19, 2025, this time in Dublin, Ireland, hosted by the Institute of Bankers in Ireland (IOB).
The key topics discussed at this meeting were:
- Work Package 3: Report on the progress of the accreditation process for micro-credentials in Ireland
- Work Package 3: Planning the pilot launch of the micro-credentials with IOB and IFS
- Work Package 4: Report on the latest steps made to advance the development of the blockchain-based micro-credential system prototype by IOB

The Professional Certificate in ESG in Financial Services has been launched and includes a new micro-credential developed as part of the MiCreS project – an initiative co-financed by the European Union to create a blockchain-based ecosystem for micro-credentials in financial services.
Ireland and Malta are the first countries to pilot the new micro-credential. Developed in cooperation with international partners and coordinated by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, the MiCreS project aims to enhance transparency and verification of professional qualifications across Europe.
