MBA President Maja Stevkova Shterieva, Ph.D. and Vice-president Toni Stojanovski, M.Sc.Econ. participated in EBF’s 54th Associative members meeting and the European Banking Summit
On 28th September 2022 in Brussels, the 54th Associate members meeting was held at the premises of the European Banking Federation (EBF).
At the meeting the participants were familiarized with the latest activities of the EBF and the European Union, whereas representatives from the EBRD had their presentations. Presentations on information security and anti-money laundering were also held.
Associate members also exchanged the best practices and experiences at national level.
The sixth edition of the European Banking Summit was held on 29th September 2022, attended by more than 500 banking representatives, policymakers, and senior experts. The event offered a review of the latest developments in EU banking policy, how technology is changing the financial system and how banks can play a key role in achieving Europe’s sustainability goals. The EBF President stressed that governments, regulators, and banks in Europe need to work together to speed up the green transition.
