Maja Stevkova Shterieva<\/strong>, took part in a panel discussion held on the <strong>28<sup>th<\/sup> of April 2026<\/strong> in Pristina as part of the <strong>Kosovo Finance Forum<\/strong>. The discussion, titled <strong>&#8220;Key Challenges Facing Banking Systems in the Region,&#8221;<\/strong> brought together representatives of regional banking associations and the International Finance Corporation to discuss current trends, digital transformation, and the key challenges facing the banking sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>As part of the event, a <strong>Memorandum of Cooperation<\/strong> was signed between the Kosovo Banking Association, the Albanian Association of Banks, and the Macedonian Banking Association. The memorandum aims to strengthen regional cooperation and facilitate the exchange of data for the preparation of joint comparative analyses of the banking systems in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Macedonian Banking Association&#8217;s participation in the forum reaffirms its commitment to enhancing regional cooperation and knowledge sharing in support of a stable, resilient, and modern banking sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:7458158500901187584?collapsed=1\" height=\"876\" width=\"504\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Embedded post\"><\/iframe>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The president of the Macedonian Banking Association, PhD.
