On September 25 and 26, in Barcelona, \u200b\u200bSpain, organized by the Instituto de Estudios Financieros (IEF), a second working meeting for the MiCreS project was held, attended by Jovana Lozanovska from the Macedonian Banking Association, responsible person of the Department for Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

The MiCreS project is coordinated by the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, with the participation of 13 partners from European and other countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MiCreS is an innovative project funded by the Erasmus program that aims to develop the first European ecosystem for micro-credentials based on blockchain. The aim of the project is to revolutionize professional qualifications in financial services and align with the European Commission’s educational initiatives to foster a more skilled and adaptable workforce in the field of ESG: an area that is receiving significant attention and focus in the financial services industry given the increasingly critical role of this industry in environmental issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The meeting focused on further phases of the project, specifically Work Packages 2 and 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work package 2 refers to the design and development of an infrastructure for the creation of a professional label, validation and recognition of trans-European micro-credentials for the financial sector, and work package 3 is intended for the development of a prototype of the so-called “green” micro-credential that will be tested within three pilot countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this three-year project, in addition to the MBA, as partners of the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management, participate institutions from Belgium – European Banking and Financial Services Training Association (EBTN), Romania – Institutul Bancar Roman (IBR), Malta – Institute of Financial Services (IFS Malta) and Malta Union of Bank Employees (MUBE), Spain \u2013 FUNDACI\u00d3 PRIVADA INSTITUT D’ESTUDIS FINANCERS (BFS-IEF), Serbia \u2013 Udr\u017eenje banaka Srbije ASSOCIATION OF SERBIAN BANKS (ASB), Turkey \u2013 IFE Istanbul Finans Enstitusu Egitim ve Danismanlik Hizme (IFE ), Italy \u2013 Finance & Banking, Associazione per lo Sviluppo Organizzativo e delle Risorse UMANE (EFFEBI), Ireland \u2013 Banking & Payments Federation Ireland (BPFI) and The Institute of Bankers in Ireland (IOB).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
